MidCoast Council Strengthens Consultant Adoption with Validated Digital Plan Submittals
MidCoast Council replaced an end of life CAD validation tool with Open Spatial’s ACDC to validate as constructed drawings for water, sewer, and reuse assets. ACDC migrated legacy standards, added tailored rules, and enabled self validation through Desktop and Portal. Consultants now fix issues before submitting, data quality is higher, and GIS workflows continue without rework. Training and a focused rollout accelerated adoption across internal teams and external partners.
